The eight insider portals BigData-Insider, Blockchain-Insider, CloudComputing-Insider, DataCenter-Insider, Dev-Insider, IP-Insider, Security-Insider and Storage-Insider of Vogel IT-Medien awarded the IT-Awards in a total of 43 categories on Thursday evening in Augsburg for the fifth year in a row. More than 35,000 participants voted on the six cloud computing categories and chose their favourites. Second place went to Nextcloud – as in the previous year – and third place this year to the American provider Dropbox.
